An Enfield Medical Centre are looking for a Telephone Triage Nurse to cover some shifts for an on-going booking.
This is a permanent booking, 20 hours per week.
Basically taking calls from patients requesting appointments at the surgery, and triaging the calls first to ensure the patients are seen in a timely manner, by the most appropriate clinician (Doctor, Nurse, HCA). Making arrangements for any workups first, i.e. bloods, ECG etc., or giving advice if they don’t need to see a doctor or nurse.
This is an EMIS WEB surgery, so experience of using this would be an advantage however if you have using EMIS LV/PCS training can be provided.
This surgery has 10,500 patients, so there are 6 partners and 4 nurses including an advanced nurse practitioner.
Times can be flexible.
