Registration Requirements

All candidates that work through Your World will be required to provide us with the following documentation before or at their formal Interview prior to starting an assignment:

  • A completed application form
  • Verified copy of a photographic identity (i.e. Passport, Driver’s Licence)
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Copies of all professional qualifications
  • Registration Certificate / Statement of Entry in the Professional Register for qualified staff
  • 2 passport photographs
  • Complete immunisation records (see section below)
  • 2 x proof of address (please see guidance notes included in CRB form)
  • A signed copy of our Agency Staff Handbook
  • Police check if you arrived less than 6 months ago/were out of the UK for more than 6 months – this must be dated within 3 months of registration
  • 2 References  - 1 from current, 1 from most recent employment


Before we can offer you work, we also need to obtain a full CRB clearance
This list is not exhaustive and is subject to current requirements – your Consultant will inform you if there are any changes.
All temporary workers placed in assignments within the NHS must provide documentation of annual training in the following areas;

  • Moving and Handling
  • Health and Safety
  • Fire Procedures
  • RIDDOR / Risk Incident Reporting
  • Lone Worker Training
  • Handling of Violence and Aggression
  • Information Governance, Data Protection & Caldicott Protocols
  • Complaints Handling
  • Basic Life Support / Immediate Life Support / CPR
  • Child Protection (POCA)
  • POVA
  • COSHH
  • Infection Control (including Clostridium Difficile & MRSA)
  • Food Hygiene – if applicable
  • CTG, Resuscitation of Newborn (for Midwives)
  • Control & Restraint (for Mental Health Nurses)

Immunisation
All temporary workers have a responsibility to provide evidence of immunity to the following:

  • Hepatitis B – if possible, a full history of Hep B immunisations is required and Hep B titre levels >100
  • Hep B antibodies (for EPP areas only)
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
  • Rubella (German Measles)
  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Tuberculosis
  • Hepatitis C, HIV (for EPP areas only)


All Occupational Health results have to be verified from your GP, an Occupational Health Nurse or Practice Nurse. Please ensure they are stamped and signed before returning to us.
We closely monitor and asses our workers performance and clinical practice by obtaining feedback from their first shift. All the workers are subject to End of Placement Assessment Report, which are conducted after every shift in different unit. Your World will be conducting annual Appraisal with each worker and 6 months after the initial shift.
